Injury Prevention & Sports Performance Camp


July 8-31, 2019 | Mondays & Wednesdays | 11am-Noon

This 4 week summer camp is aimed to helping student athletes ages ~11-14 years old to perform sports related tasks with improved mechanics and efficiency to help keep them safe as well as excel in their sport. This course is developed and led by licensed sports physical therapists with expertise in injury prevention and body mechanics.

The camp will be focused on improving mechanics with jumping, cutting, changing direction and other agility movements. Participants will also learn proper warm ups to reduce injury. Exercises for strengthening commonly weak musculature and stretches for frequently tight muscles in adolescent to aid in efficient body movement.

The camp will be held in a group training format but with an emphasis on supervision, proper form and having fun!
